Training practices.

  • Since punches are short bursts of force, better to train it with strength and endurance - only do this if you feel its safe.
  • You take lots of force many times throughout a fight + the more strength in the muscle, the slower you gas - think about it, when you roll with someone stronger, they will gas slower if they have the same cardio as you.
  • You can use it more times a week 4 - 5 instead of 2 since the neck is a small muscle group that can recover faster.

DON’T

  • No neck hyperextensiom
  • You don’t want the crazy flex at the back of your vertebraee as it can cause damage
  • Don’t use full full range of motion for fear that your vertebrae disks come together.
